The Elder Emcee · Four Decades On The Mic
My Voice · My Expression · My Delivery
Battle-forged since 1982. Simile, metaphor, and a taste of apocalyptic imagery — clever competition rap from the era that built the culture, delivered by a voice that never left it.
Since 1982 I've had the fascination of wordplay with cadence called rapping/emceeing. From quoting the pioneers from the eighties and nineties to developing my own style of emceeing with simile, metaphor and a taste of apocalyptic imagery which forged my own style of battle rapping — clever competition rapping — that led to my title POWERLORD. CJD is the initials to my name.
Over the years I had to grow up and mature but was surprised I never lost the passion of performing and writing, producing, and recording songs. I've always enjoyed the four Elements of HipHop Culture and watching it evolve over the years.
So with that being said, the Elder Emcee of forty-three years on the mic presents to you my voice, my expression, the delivery of POWERLORD CJD…… ENJOY.
